“Share Wisdom, Promote Peace”

January 2 (2021)    “Share Wisdom, Promote Peace”                 Philippians 2:16

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.”  (Philippians 2:16)

We have a profound responsibility, as Followers of Christ, to share the Good News and to share (and practice) the wisdom that we have attained, through the Holy Spirit.  We, also, have an obligation to promote Peace wherever we are.  As we proceed through this New Year, let us focus on the Mission, God’s Good News, and may we be about the Father’s Business!  May we remember that what we want is secondary to the message of Christ.  God’s gift of Jesus, and the responsibilities that come with this blessing, should be paramount in our living and should be evident in everything that we do.  If we are to be effective witnesses for Christ, in 2021, then we have to claim our Gift, Embrace His Message and Live it, every single day!  For this New Year, a short course in Human Relations:

The Four Most Important Words: “WHAT IS YOUR OPINION?”

The Three Most Important Words: “IF YOU PLEASE”

The One Most Important Word: “WE”

The LEAST Important Word: “I”

Lord, keep us mindful of YOUR WORD above all others during this New Year (20201)… (Zona B. Davis – Guidepost 1985)

Remember that “I” is not our priority, “HE” is our privilege and responsibility… Promote His Good News, share the Wisdom of His anointing, and Promote the “PEACE OF GOD” wherever you are… With the knowledge of His Presence and the Victory through Jesus’ shed Blood, let us, indeed, be about doing exactly what the scripture passage instructs us to do…“Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain.”   Please Lord, make us aware of the reasons to rejoice and the reasons to share and the reasons to “LIVE FOR YOU!”  2021 will be the BEST year of your Spiritual Life, thus far, or it will not be…God has provided the means, method and message…We have to claim His provision, embrace His Love and Live it, every day!  What God does with you (in 2021) is entirely up to you!  Always has, always will!!!  Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
