Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works, which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.” (Ephesians 2: 10)
Observing the “goings on” in this world, and the push for earthly power, regardless of what is required or who gets hurt, in the process, I recognize the huge canyon of difference between human motivations and the divine calling of Believers! Earthly power is temporal, and the lust and passion to achieve this power, is futile. The desire for excellence and demonstrating a passion for God, is divinely inspired and we must seek Him, with a passion. Our desire, our goal, our passion must be to serve Him and to make a difference, right where we are! The passion for excellence and the desire to grow stronger in Him, is a sign of maturity! May we be about the Father’s business and continue to have a passion for His Greatness, demonstrated in all that we do! I declare this to the sinful world…You can have the limited and short-lived power; I choose to connect to the eternal and everlasting power of God! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
