Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Therefore, ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil; but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:20-21)
Have you noticed the tendency for individuals to place blame on others for their issues and troubles? “Its not my fault!” Amazingly, it has become acceptable to blame others, even placing blame in the wrong place, seems acceptable, as long as, I am not responsible! Well, I am here, to report that, as “born again believers,” we are supposed to serve God, and we are to be witnesses for Him, and we should not be in the business of placing blame! Sin is the blame! Because of the Cross and because of Jesus Christ, we should not play the “Blame-Game” with the world! Satan is behind the “blindness” of individuals placing blame and not standing up and being responsible! This is evil! The scriptures states clearly that we are to overcome evil with good! Satan, and his minions, do not expect God’s people to “Do Good,” and he will throw everything at his disposal to aggressively stop and destroy your witness and your purpose! Do not be overcome by the Devil’s dealing! Keep serving God by loving your enemies, feeding the hungry, offering drink to the thirsty, and by doing so, will drive Satan crazy! Love your neighbors, pray for your enemies, forgive their trespasses, and in so doing, you will be that Bright Light for Jesus and Joy will abound in your life! Unity and agreement produce power, so I choose to “walk in His Grace, and “Agree” with His Word, and “Overcome Evil with Good!” Serve God, Serve Others! Stay Strong, Stay Focused… THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
