Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10)
Why is it that Jesus and the Heavenly Angels rejoice when one comes to Jesus in Faith and Repentance? They have to, see something that we are unable to see! Is it possible that they know something that we don’t? Absolutely! You see, they know what Heaven has in store for the “Saved” believer! There are times when I read the Book of Relevation, and I speculate of the greatness and the majesty and beauty of our eternal dwelling place, I still, in my human mind, cannot come close to the magnificence of its regal glory! I do know this: Conflicts and arguments will no longer exist, jealousy and envy will cease, there will be no secrets and there will be no fear or dread and all insecurities will vanish. Matthew talks about the “Wheat and the Tares,” together, here on earth, well, in Heaven, it will be “Pure Wheat,” and the “Weeds” will be cast into the “Fire!” Think about the Glory and the Beauty that awaits the Believer! Is it any wonder that the Angels rejoice, and that Jesus rejoices in one coming to salvation! Jesus loves us and He is excited when we come to Him in confession and claiming His forgiveness! I am looking forward, to the day, when I am able, to fully embrace and enjoy the Bounty and Beauty of my Heavenly Home. While I am here, I fully intend to share the Love of Jesus, the author and Finisher, of my Faith and my conduit to “Glory!” When this chaotic and evil world crowds around me and I feel as if I am about to collapse, I think on His Love, His Power, His Provision, and the fact that this is not my home, I have a “Heavenly Home,” waiting for me, and I smile and I rejoice, in my spirit, because “Greater is He that is in me, then he that is in this world!” Are the Angels rejoicing over you? Now is the time to allow the Angels and Jesus to rejoice and be glad for you! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
