March 28 “Do You Not Know?” Isaiah 40:28-29
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina…“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired and weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” (Isaiah 40:28-29
Today is Palm Sunday 2021! Jesus was following the Father’s will and plan for humanity and His plan took Jesus to the Cross of Calvary! Jesus was truly the example of obedience in the face of peril and persecution. His shed blood is the cure for our sins and He has provided the opportunity for us to overcome life’s weariness and challenges! That day, when Jesus rode into Jerusalem, on the back of a donkey, with palm branches being cast before him, He knew His mission and He knew that He would be the opportunity for us to deal with and overcome the trials and weariness of our earthly existence! Everyone grows weary, at some point! The challenges and trials of this life can truly wear on our very existence, yet, our God has declared that HE WILL NOT GROW WEARY AND THAT HE HAS THE POWER TO SUSTAIN US! I am excited to be a Child of God, under the Blood of Jesus Christ, and walking in Obedience to God’s call! The past three weeks, I have been presented with the opportunity to be weary and tired; however, as I claim HIS victory, I am energized and fortified! The Holy Word says that “HE GIVES STRENGTH TO THE WEARY AND INCREASES THE POWER OF THE WEAK!” I am claiming that POWER and I am claiming that STRENGTH! How about you? Nothing, absolutely nothing is beyond God’s POWER! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
