April 10 We Will Survive! Romans 8:35-39
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: ‘For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.’ Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:35-39)
Just recently, there was an article on WRAL; that stated that Christians were no longer the majority, in the United States. It said that, for the first time in history, those who identify as Christians were in the minority. Why is this significant? Look around at what is happening! Whether you are willing to acknowledge it, there is an open movement to stifle the witness and freedom to share the Love of God with others. If the Bible can be declared, based on the “Evil” that has overtaken our land, as “Hate” speech, then, sharing Jesus will become a criminal offence! You have to understand that there IS COMING A DAY when you will have to decide what you will do and who you serve! I have been predicting this environment and the actions that will ensue, for years. Folks, if you don’t believe it, then just pick up a newspaper and read. Satan is having a “Field Day!” Why am I telling this? I am sharing the facts because you need to be ready for the time when sharing the “Good News” will be seen as “abnormal” and “Radical!” God’s plan and all that is to come, is going to happen and we must make sure that we have our priorities straight! Read Revelation and understand that evil is coming, like nothing that we have ever seen. So, what are we to do? We are to GROW in the LOVE OF GOD, through JESUS CHRIST. We are to continue to GROW IN THE FAITH that has been provided through the SHED BLOOD OF JESUS! Recognize this FACT…as a Born Again Child of God, you will face persecution and even physical harm, yet, God has promised that we WILL BE VICTORIOUS! Do you have a worldly view or a heavenly view? This is not a joke! This is not a game! Do not be overwhelmed by the insanity and depravity that is taking over our land. For my God is with me and He goes before me, I do not fear because I am His!!! This world is not our home; we are just passing through…!!!! I am resolved to serve my Savior and to be ready to share the Good News, regardless of the issues! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!!!!!
