June 12 Deception versus Truth Matthew 24:4
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “And Jesus answered and said to them: ‘Take heed that no one deceives you.’” (Matthew 24:4)
A New York Representative, just a few short months ago, told us that the world would end in 12 years, if we didn’t address and reverse the destruction of the planet, through “Climate Change!” Are you aware that the Number One Priority of the entire Planet; should be “Global Warming?” Veterans living on the streets, illegal immigration, rampant chaos and violence in the streets of our major cities, poverty, hunger, violence and murder, yet, we are told that the PRIORITY of OUR PRESENT DAY is “CLIMATE CHANGE!” Folks, this is not a political message, this is a message of reality! Sin is running rampant and the very idea of “Common Sense,” is, apparently, a threat to the “Godless” and “Sinful” motivations of so many. We are living in unprecedented times and we are challenged from so many sides, yet, as “Blood Bought” Children of God, we have a responsibility to “Rightly Divide the Word of Truth!” If you pay attention, you will witness major religious players, embracing the idea that “Man,” who did not create the Earth, can destroy the Earth! There is a deceptive arrogance, apparently motivated by Satanic Evil that causes individuals to promote this dribble. Colossians 2:8 tells us, “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” I have pondered the reason behind this “Deceit” that is being taught, and I believe that it is Satan’s tool and method to deceitfully distract us from the TRUTH! “Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.” (Jeremiah 9:6) When I think back to the 7th Grade, and my teacher was talking about “Global Cooling,” (notice that the deception was different, just a few years ago) and a bright young lady brought up a topic that was worthy of consideration. She simply asked this question… “Isn’t the earth in a constant state of change?” Imagine that! Because “Man” has a short-term, for the moment thought process, we think that this is the way it should be…GUESS WHAT! There are two absolute truths in this earthly life…the FIRST is that God loved us enough that He sent Jesus to Die for our Sins, and the SECOND truth is that this Creation that we call earth, is in a constant state of change. Evil does not want us to recognize, nor to embrace the Truth. If we are operating in the Truth, then, the deceptions of Evil are null and void. I may be rambling, just a bit; yet, my purpose is to proclaim the TRUTH of ALMIGHTY GOD and the REALITY of HIS GRACE through JESUS CHRIST! DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THE LIMITED, EARTHLY EVIL OF THE MINIONS OF SATAN! Satan is moving about, seeking whom he may destroy. From my observation, he is being quite successful. Stay in God’s Word and live your life in the “VICTORY PRINCIPLE! “I affirm that God’s power is rising in me, renewing and healing my body, bringing power to my mind, giving me success in my living. I affirm health, energy, enthusiasm, the joy of life. All of this I owe to JESUS CHRIST, my SAVIOR and my LORD. He has given me the “VICTORY PRINCIPLE” for which I thank Him every day!” Deception is real! Lies are everywhere! Liars, some is “sheep’s clothing,” are all around us, so, please join with me in boldly proclaiming…NOT TODAY SATAN, NOT TODAY!!! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
