Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:17-18)
What a privilege and blessing to be able to go to God anytime, anywhere, about anything that we desire! This amazing opportunity that is afforded us, through the Blood of Jesus Christ, is available to us all the time! We can (and should) go to Him in prayer, every single day! We should be in an “Attitude” of Prayer, every minute of the day! Our relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, is dependent on our growing and ongoing relationship and that fellowship that is growing and maturing, each passing day! There are days when I do not feel like speaking out loud to anyone, yet the growing relationship with God allows me to pray without ceasing in my heart and in my mind, and that constant communication is the “life-line” for growth and my growing dependence on Him! We are told to “Pray without ceasing,” and to be “Grateful,” in the process! PRAISE GOD! He has provided the greatest combination for every Believer: The Privilege of Communication with the father and an Attitude of Gratitude in the process!! Regardless of the challenges and the trials and the issues of the day, I have the privilege and the blessing to be able to come boldly into the presence of Almighty God, constantly, and commune and communicate and grow and fellowship! What an awesome blessing that has been given to us, by the Loving and Powerful and Forgiving Savior, Jesus Christ! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!! I continue to pray that you will develop the “lifestyle” of being in constant communication with the Father, through the Son, and do it with GRATITUDE and GRACE! Folks, in the middle of the Darkness of our human existence, God has provided the “LIGHT of HIS LOVE,” to calm and strengthen us, in all that we encounter and endure! THANK YOU, LORD!! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
