April 9 “Do the Right Thing!” 1 Chronicles 22:13
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina … “You will prosper, if you take care to fulfill the statutes and judgments with which the Lord charged Moses concerning Israel. Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (1 Chronicles 22:13)
“Do the Right Thing!” That was my mother’s standing instruction for me, in all cases! Amazingly, things worked out so much better when I did the right thing! The scripture passage today tells us that when we are motivated by pure thoughts and our actions (and words) are virtuous, and we are doing the right thing, then God will allow our lives to “Prosper!” When we allow the righteousness of God to be the central motivating factor in our lives and we are committed to following Christ, in every aspect of our living, then fear, lack of faith, discouragement, despair and conflict should continue to be less and less! When we continue to examine our Hearts, our Motivations (should be HIS, not ours), then we will be able to Trust Him, Serve Him and Walk in Accordance with His Will and His Guiding Purpose! Trust Him and allow Him to teach you to live a Spiritually Maturing and Successful Life! The Holy Spirit is Ready, Willing and Able to Maintain, Sustain and to Guide us in ALL OUR ENDEAVORS! May Our Lives be a Genuine Reflection of the Beauty that is Our Savior, JESUS CHRIST! Stay Strong, Stay Focused… THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
