October 10 LIVING in HIS POWER Ephesians 6:10
** Yesterday afternoon, my Dear Friend and Prayer Partner, Rev. Ricky Anderson, was involved in a head on collision that totaled both vehicles and my Dear Brother suffered multiple internal injuries. He underwent surgery last night to correct the damage in one leg, and will be facing additional surgeries, in the coming days! Please Pray for Ricky as he begins the extended recovery time! PRAISE GOD that RICKY SURVIVED the CRASH! Please join with me in Praying, Claiming and Expecting a Full Recovery! Additionally, his dear bride, Donna, is at home recovering from knee surgery and the challenges of her recovery, now concerned about Ricky and his recovery! Please keep Faith & Isaac in your prayers, asking for strength and endurance, as they care for Mom & Dad! **
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:10)
Have you noticed that those things that are truly worth doing always seem to be a bit more difficult than you might think? Daddy used to tell me that when I walk in the Spirit and when I am claiming His Power, I could do the impossible. Over the years, I have come to realize just how true Daddy’s words were. As I sit here, before this antiquated, and may I add, often aggravating computer, I reflect on those words from long ago. Daddy’s lesson and this beautiful scripture passage convey the message of success and achieving our full potential. When we are fortified in His Grace and have on the FULL ARMOR of GOD, then we can accomplish the impossible. As a Christian, I have an obligation to Live in His Power and to make a Difference, right where I am! Every one of us go through some difficult and frustrating times, yet, we are promised victory, when we live in His Power and Claim His Promises for our lives. Keep in mind, this life is filled with issues and tribulations! God has promised that we are OVERCOMERS through the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ! John 16:33 tells us that when we are His, then we are absolutely overcomers! Be Strong My Friends and Follow his Direction and Continue to make a Difference, Right Where You Are! Stay Strong, Stay Focused … THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
