November 13 “Everything I Need to Know About Life, I Learned from Noah’s Ark!” Psalm 46:10
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10)
A few years ago, a dear friend, Mrs. Sandy Trippe, shared this encouragement with me (I, have it pinned up beside my computer screen so I can be encouraged daily), and I would like to share it with you today! It is entitled, “Everything I Need to Know About Life, I Learned from Noah’s Ark!”
1. Don’t Miss the Boat!
2. Remember that We are All in the Same Boat!
3. Plan Ahead. It Wasn’t Raining when Noah Built the Ark!
4. Stay Fit. When You’re Really Old, Someone May Ask You to do Something Really Bid!
5. Don’t Listen to Critics; just Get on with the Job that Needs to be Done!
6. Build Your Future on High Ground!
7. For Safety Sake, Travel in Pairs!
8. Speed isn’t always an Advantage. The Snails were on board with the Cheetahs!
9. When You’re Stressed, Float a While!
10. Remember, the Ark was Built by Amateurs, the Titanic by Professionals!
Be Thankful for All that God has Provided for Our Instruction and for Our Abilities to Grow in His Grace and Glory! Continue to Read His Holy Word, Pray to Him Every Single Day, and Share the Good News with Someone, Every Day! Stay Strong, Stay Focused …. THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
