November 3              Thank-You, Lord!      Matthew 10:32
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Therefore, whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 10:32)
Over the years, it has become obvious that true and authentic conversion, the verbal confession of our sins and the public profession of belief in Jesus as Savior, is the best evidence of a changed life! Some say that their Faith is a personal and private thing that is kept inside, but the Bible doesn’t speak of that kind of salvation! My Daddy used to say that “A Genuine Saving Faith is a Talking Faith!” When I think back to the moment, many years ago, when I made my first public profession of Faith in Jesus Christ and the fact that He had Saved me and changed my life forever, I could hardly contain my excitement and enthusiasm about sharing Jesus with others! Remember when, in Acts, chapter 4, when Annas, the High Priest, commanded that Peter and John “not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus,” and these brave men declared, “We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard!” When we are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, and we understand the amazing act of Grace in our lives, how do we remain silent? Friends, when I think about the Love of God and that He loved me, me, so much that He was willing to provide His only Son to be the one, true and final sacrifice for my sins, I get a big dose of “Just can’t Help It!” I want to tell everyone, everywhere, about my Jesus and His Love, His Power, His Life Changing Grace! It is with gratitude that I Thank My Lord for giving me the “Gift of Life and the Gift of Gab,” as I share His Grace and Glory. I continually ask Him to remind me of the privilege that I enjoy when I share His Good News! May we never, ever forget that we must confess Him every day, in every way, because, if we do not, He says that He will not confess us before the Father! His
Please Lord, open every opportunity for us to share Your Grace and to Live our Lives as a Reflection of Your Love and Salvation! Thank You, Lord for Your Great Love and Atoning Grace! My I be Ready, Willing and Prepared to Share Your Grace and Glory, Every Day, in Every Way, to All that I Encounter! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Stay Strong, Stay Focused… THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
