August 30 Keep Walking with God Psalm 37:23-24
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.” (Psalm 37:23-24)
When we claim the salvation promise of God, through the selfless act of Love and Grace of Jesus on the Cross, we are called to keep walking with God along the path that He has chosen for us to trod! Our desire must be to walk with Him, growing each day in our relationship with Him, and to delight in the journey! Regardless of the climate, conditions, circumstances or situations that we encounter along this path of Life, he has promised that He will sustain us, empower us, embolden us and cause us to be strong in the face of worldly opposition. You can relate to the fact that this walk with God is fraught with steep climbs and rapid drops and obstacles and pitfalls and challenges and difficulties, however, God always provides the proper path, firm ground and adequate energy for the stroll. Regardless of the challenges, He instructs us to stay on the path that He has selected for us and to keep looking to Him for our directions. Our responsibility is to keep walking, keep stepping, keep moving and to keep trusting! The past 30 days have been some of the most difficult in my short ministry life, yet, recognizing His promise, depending on His power and excited about His Amazing Grace, I continue to keep walking with Him, regardless of the “Noise” of this world that is around me! How About You? Stay Strong, Stay Focused… THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
