August 31 The Sacrifice Of Praise Hebrews 13:15
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Therefore, by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.” (Hebrews 13:15)
The scripture passage reminds us that our praise to God is not circumstantial. It is based solely on our love for God and His undeserved blessings. The Order of our Praise is because of God’s great Love and through Him, we can offer that praise! We are to continually offer up praise to our God, every day in everything! Even when circumstances and situations create obstacles to our praise, we must continue to do it. Neither sorrow or death or difficulties or hurt feelings or challenges, we are to continue to cultivate and demonstrate an attitude of Praise to our Holy God! Let our every breath honor Him and Praise Him for He is worthy to be Praised! I pray that everything that we do will resonate His Glory and that we will praise Him with our Attitude, our Rejoicing, our every Word and our Actions! God is the object of our praise, and I am excited that we no longer need to sacrifice animals to maintain a healthy relationship with God! It is as the scripture passage declares, “It's the fruit of the lips and the presentation of our bodies as living sacrifices before our God.” PRAISE GOD FROM WHOM ALL BLESSINGS FLOW! Stay Strong, Stay Focused… THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
