October 13 My Whole Heart Psalm 73:26
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” (Psalm 73:26)
Physically, our hearts are powerful muscles that continually circulate life-sustaining blood throughout our bodies! Amazingly, and divinely inspired, the heart works in conjunction with the other organs of our body to support life and to continue to renew our growth! I am excited and grateful for the strong heartbeat that I feel in my chest, and I praise God each time that I feel the pumping of this amazing organ! As strong and amazing as my heart is to my physical health, it is even more important to my spiritual life and growth! My heart is the “Soul” center of Love and Peace and Joy, and it is, through my heartfelt acts of kindness, I have the privilege to share God’s Love and Grace with others! “God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” It is absolutely amazing! The more Love and Joy that I share from my heart with others, the more that I use it as an instrument of God’s Love and the stronger and healthier I feel in my mind and in my body! I Thank God for a Strong Heart and a Growing Faith and a Promise that “He is my portion forever!” With my whole heart I pledge my life to HIM! How about you?
