September 21 BE STILL…. Psalm 46:10
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10)
In the challenges and conflicts of any given day, each one of us has choices to make, decisions to decide and challenges to face! As a pastor, shepherd, encourager, leader, the path, the methods, the way can become difficult, cumbersome and burdensome! When these times occur, I know that it is time to STOP, DROP & PRAY! Hebrews 4:16 provides the answer: “Therefore, let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” Every one of us needs to “Be Still and Know” that God is the answer to our every challenge and our every need! Philippians 4:6: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Talk with God, Read his Word and Share His Good News! Remember, STOP, DROP & PRAY is a requirement, not a suggestion! Stay Strong, Stay Focused … THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
