2020 “Comfort on Our Walk through Life” Psalm 84:11
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.” Psalms 84:11 The reality of our present situation, that exist in our world, presents many challenges to our attitude and our mental and physical stability. So, what are we to do when we have to operate in this atmosphere of reduced freedoms and governed activities? We claim the promises of Almighty God and reflect on His Grace, His Love and His Guidance. Just recently, I received a beautiful card of encouragement that has helped me focus and has acted as a stimulus to lean of God and keep on walking in His light and His truth. I would like to share the words with you, with the hope that they will inspire and comfort and encourage you! “Around the Bend” “Sometimes we walk along a path beneath a cloudy sky, There’s nothing to the right or left to lift our spirits high, Then, at last, we turn a corner and there bursts into our view, A scene of light and beauty, and the world seems fresh and new…So, always hold this little thought that cares are bound to end, And there’s a brighter day ahead – just waiting around the bend.” Dear friends, we have hope in the midst of chaos and we have assurance in the depth of the storm, so let us commit ourselves to claiming His victory over the circumstances and acknowledge His Amazing Grace for our lives and His promise to never leave or forsake us! I get excited in claiming His promises and look forward to what is next! If you do not know Jesus in His saving grace, it is really easy to be saved! ADMIT YOU ARE A SINNER ("All have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23): BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS, ROSE FROM THE DEAD AND THAT YOU TRUST IN HIM ALONE FOR YOUR SALVATION. ("Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved." Acts 16:31): CONFESS YOUR SINS ("If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins." 1 John 1:9)…If you would like to invite Jesus into your life, pray this prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I understand that I am a sinner and I ask You for forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins so that I could receive Your forgiveness and have eternal life. I ask You to come into my life right now and become my personal Savior. From this day forward, Lord, I give you control of my life. Make me a new person and help me to live for You. Amen… If you prayed to receive Jesus, I would like to know about it. You can contact me through this Facebook page. Be comforted in our walk through life! Praise God! Stay Strong, Stay Focused… Remember, THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
