"God's Program for Our Lives"

September 24     God’s Program for Our Lives          Psalm 32

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina…“Blessed is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy on me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.” And you forgave the guilt of my sin. Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle or they will not come to you. Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love surrounds the one who trusts in him. Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous; sing, all you who are upright in heart!” (Psalm 32)

When we come to Christ, in faith, asking to be forgiven and to be “Saved,” He activates His program for our living!  Sadly, many of us do not understand His Plan and His Program for our lives!  First of all, it is a PERSONAL PROGRAM!  We need to take the words of Psalm 32:8 as though it was written just for us…”I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”  God’s Plan is FOR BELIEVER’S ONLY!  Psalm 32 tells us that the Promise of Guidance is only for those whose transgressions are forgiven!  God’s Plan is, Wonderfully, Detailed!  Proverbs 3:6 tells us that “He shall Direct thy Paths!”  God’s Program for us is Continuous!  He has promised that He would guide us continually (Isaiah 58:11).  God’s Program for our Lives, is Definite and Specific!  God’s Plan Allows for Special Counsel and His Wisdom! We can be assured that God’s Plan for our Lives is sure to be Profitable!  Joshua 1:8 says it clearly, “Then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success!”  Remember…What God does with you is up to you!  It always has and it always will!  Please Live for Christ and do not let the entanglements of this world hinder you for serving and following Christ!  Embrace God’s Plan for your Life and KEEP GROWING!! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!!!!!!!!!
