March 24 Do Not Doubt! Deuteronomy 31:8
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:8)
In the scripture passage for today, Moses has handed off the leadership role to Joshua and his challenges had begun. As I read these amazing words, I was drawn to the reality of those words that should be our call to His service and our ability to walk with confidence, through these trying times. What a promise and what a blessing…Our Lord actually goes before us and He is preparing our way and He will direct our paths! In everything that we do and in everything that we experience, through every trial and on every journey, He has promised to assist us and to direct us! The victory, through Faith, is that He has promised that He would never fail us nor will He forsake us! Folks, without our Savior, we can do nothing! The promise of His grace, guidance and power to keep us in His will, provides comfort and commitment! During Annette’s surgery and the difficult times that continue to go on, I have had some “low” times as I sat in a dark room, praying for His will, His healing and His understanding! This beautiful passage of scripture, with its inspirational power, helped me to realize that He is in control and as a Follower of Christ; He has promised that He is with me (and Annette) and that He would NEVER FORSAKE US! I have read this passage, over and over, and it has provided comfort for this present challenge and promise for tomorrow! Listen… “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be Afraid; do not be discouraged!” This is a Promise and this is Our Victory for Living! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
(**Annette is slowly improving, with a long ways to go! Thank you for all of the prayers and we ask that you will continue to pray for her, as she navigates through this rough patch! We are walking in His Grace and seeking His will for our future…**)
