***Due to the rise in COVID19 related illnesses, we are strongly encouraging the use of Masks, within the sanctuary, and to continue to observe “Social Distancing.” Together, with a faithful reliance on God, we will overcome this present challenge!!***
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6)
Wow! Today’s world is full of challenges and anxiety producing opportunities; yet God’s word teaches that we are to “Not Be Anxious!” Now, that can be a “Tall Order!” The pressures and the negative influences and the attacks from Satan, combine to create an atmosphere of Anxiety and Stress. Praise God! Jesus offers a way to manage stress and anxiety and we are to embrace it and to actively use it to overcome the stress of the day. So, how do we deal with the stresses and anxiety? Simple: Pray – Ask in Humility – Be Grateful – Ask God Directly!! We have to trust God, We have to position ourselves and cling to His Promises and be in a posture or position to receive His Power, Provision, Presence and His Peace! Live for today and claim His Promises for Tomorrow! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
