April 1 Growing Through the Circumstances Romans 5:3-4
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)
Conviction and focus, not the easiness of life, are the differences in those who know God and those who refuse to know Him. Every one of us experience challenges and adversities, but Christians understand that Troubles produce Patience, and Patience produces Character, and Character brings us to Hope! It is because of this Hope that we can have Joy in the face of terrible situations and circumstances that will occur! This Hope provides the opportunity to see beyond the circumstances the reality of His promises fulfills in our lives! When I am tested, when I am challenged, I am excited to know that Trials do not diminish my Love, it causes it to Grow! God has created us for much more than Trials and Difficulties; He has made us to reflect His Grace and Glory and He has ordained us to be more because of Jesus, and His Selfless Act on Calvary! When troubles come, and they will, we are to keep looking up, embrace His Hope and Rest in His Amazing Grace! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
