Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:8)
The longer that I live, the more that I am amazed at the inconsistent attitudes and actions of those who profess to be Born Again Believers. Recently, the Texas Legislature passed a restrictive bill, limiting the timeline on abortions. Other States have adopted similar legislation to restrict abortions. Fascinatingly, many professing believers have found a “Soap-box,” in order, to decry the violation of one’s rights. Please understand that I respect one’s right to their opinions and I will defend their right to have a different opinion, however, in light of my Faith and commitment to Christ, I have deep reservations about one who claims to be a Christian; yet adopts and practices beliefs that are absolutely opposed to the word of God and His Will. During the COVID 19 pandemic, I have discovered, personally, that my Faith and the Worldly Politics, could not and must not mix. My Faith and My Commitment to Christ is the standard for my living and the Worldly influences must not take priority. How can we participate and support anything that is in direct conflict with the Holy Scriptures and still have a growing and dynamic relationship with God? What is more important? Our limited and temporal existence, here on earth, or our eternal citizenship? James 3:10 tells us, “Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.” BOTTOM LINE: You are either for God and all that is associated with Him, or you are not! You are either committed to the Cause of Christ, or you are not! I am committed to living, as much as possible, “peacefully” with everyone, however, I draw the line when it violates the eternal and divine relationship with my Savior. We, as believers, must make God, and His Ways, our ways and we must present ourselves as growing and forgiven witnesses of His Great Love and we must not be entangles in the issues of the world that tatter and destroy our witness! We must be what He expects us to be! 1 Corinthians 14:8 tells us, clearly, “For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” Is your “Trumpet” playing an uncertain sound? Are you living with one foot in the world and one in the presence of God? Remember---“A double minded man is unstable in all his ways!” The world will be offended by your commitment, your lifestyle, and your witness! Please take inventory of your life and determine who you will serve and how you will live! Matthew 5:10-14 tells us “How’ and Why’s” of serving Him… “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. “You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under people's feet. “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” Be Real, Be Consistent, Be HIS Light in this Dark and Evil world…Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… ““And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19)
I assume that taking an inventory of what we have and what we lack, is a natural part of our human existence. I listen to family and friends talking about what they don’t have and what they desire yet, they seem to forget the blessings that they already enjoy! Are we spending valuable time worrying about lack, when we should be rejoicing, for what we actually have to enjoy? As I reflect on my own life, I am blessed, and I am living a Full Life. I am excited for the future! God has promised that there would be great and mighty blessing ahead, and all that I must do; is to be Faithful and ask for His Provision and He would provide for my every need… Considering all that is in my life, I AM TRULY BLESSED! The older that I become and the Stronger and more mature I become, spiritually, I am excited that I am focusing on what I have, and not what I perceive that I lack. God said that He would supply my every need and He said that He would provide Wisdom and Strength and Courage, so, what do I need beyond His Promises? How about embracing the blessings and living for Him, in such a way that others would recognize His Grace, Power, Provision and Promise and that they too, would become more focused on Praise versus Pity. Think about this question: How would the Lord God of all that is, want to bless you? How about blessing you, HEART, MIND, SOUL AND WITH HIS STRENGTH? Matthew 6:33 says it best:
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Seek God first and watch Him supply your needs beyond your grandest imagination…Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV)
Oh, my goodness! Have you noticed the “trash” that is on mainstream television, today? I was asked, just a few days ago, if I had watched a program on a major network, and my response was, “No!” I try to avoid the Evil propaganda that has permeated the major television programming. Sex, violence, profanity, and a host of questionable actions have replaced decent and uplifting programming. I watch Andy Griffith and Perry Mason and Rawhide and Wagon Train and Hazel, and anything that has some reasonable content! We must be careful what we expose ourselves to, and we have to filter the materials that enter our minds through the “Boob-Tube!” I have purposely reduced my TV exposure, which provides greater available time to do the things that are more productive and beneficial! I have chosen to control the materials that come into my life, and I fully believe that we must do this, in order, to grow and to become mature and strong followers of Jesus Christ! Satan will use every means available to dilute and to thwart the cause of Christ! I simply refuse to be a contributor to his efforts!! How about you? Are you controlling what comes into your eyes and ears? There is an old computer saying… “Garbage in, Garbage out!” Please do not allow Satan to distract you from your calling, your mission and your service for the Lord! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

April 23 “In CHRIST JESUS” 1 Corinthians 1:30
ANNOUNCEMENT: Baptist Tabernacle Church will be 100 years old, in 2022. A grand celebration is planned for May 22, 2022, to commemorate the first service as an organized church body! Special information, recognitions, God’s Word, and a catered meal (Parker’s BBQ) will be a part of the celebration. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the festivities. Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from GOD – and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Corinthians 1:30)
Recently, I was listening to a discussion between three of my pastor friends, and they were talking about the various needs and the lack of the wisdom and effort to change the circumstances. That very same afternoon, I was counseling with a couple and their complaint was that they lacked the necessary tools (skills) to successfully navigate through marriage. Wow! When the pastor’s asked me about my situation and when the young couple were looking to me for my answer, I spoke with His authority, and declared that I have all that I need, in the presence and person of Jesus Christ! He gives all that I require, and He provides all the “wisdom” that I need to successfully deal with every one of life’s challenges! Colossians 2:3 tells us that we have “all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge,” in our Savior, Jesus Christ! Everything that I need to know, and everything that I need to do, is provided in Jesus! The wisdom of the world is limited and is a false knowledge. Satan will attempt to thwart the truth of God’s Holy Word and will attempt to turn us away from the truth of His Son, Jesus! Praise God! We have righteousness, that is His righteousness in us, at the point of our salvation experience! We have sanctification as we continue to grow and mature in His Holy Word and in His Purpose for our lives, as we move to being more and more “Christ-Like!!” Dear friends, through the blood of Jesus, we are freed from the bondage of sin, and we are positioned to serve Him in the Beauty of Holiness! When the pastors asked me about my thoughts, I shared and reminded them of the words of James 1:5-6, that, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.” God’s Love, God’s Grace, God’s Redemption, God’s Sanctification, God’s Divine Will for Mankind, is all that we need to live, serve and to bring Honor to His Holy Name! PRAISE GOD! HALLELUJAH, IN JESUS CHRIST, WE HAVE EVERYTHING THAT WE NEED! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS ABSOLUTELY YET TO BE!

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… ““Seek the LORD and His strength, seek His face continually.” (1 Chronicles 16:11)
We were in the mountains of North Carolina, a few years ago, with the purpose of renewal and refreshing. The past several weeks had taken its toll on me, and I was just going through the motions, with no power and enthusiasm and my prayer life was suffering. It was one of those times when I had placed everything in front of Prayer Time and was just casually engaging in prayer. Annette said, “We need some down time!” She has a God-Given ability to discern when I am about to “Burn Out!” So, to the mountains we went! We enjoyed going to various “flea markets” around the local area, and this trip was no different. In one of the stores, I spotted a pair of roller skates that you put over your shoes and I purchased them. My mind went back to those days of my youth, and I could envision me skating around the carport as soon as we returned to the house. Sure enough, I put the skates on, tightened the skates, with the key, and stood upright. Ok, all is well! So, I slowly eased off from the spot where I stood. Thoughts of my agility and my joy in skating, came rushing into my mind, and as quickly as it entered, it exited. The thoughts of my youthful skill and pleasure of skating were quickly replaced with the reality that I was falling! Sure enough, my knees met the concrete and my, not so youthful body, told my mouth to groan! As I removed the skates and tossed them into the bushes, I realized that, if I was going to enjoy skating, I would have to do it more often, maybe, even every day, in order, to receive the joy that I had remembered. As I was sitting on the cold concrete, I had a moment of clarity! If I expected my Prayer Life to be fulfilling and effective, and if I were to receive the Power to serve God and to obey His commands, then, I, like this skating, need to do it more often! If I wanted my relationship with God to be more meaningful and if I wanted to serve Him in the Power of the Holy Spirit, then I was going to have to pray “Constantly!” I got up, dug the skates from the bushes, and told myself, “I’ll skate some more tomorrow, but right now, I am going to pray!” Every time that I have sags or down times, spiritually, it is because I fail to “Seek the LORD and His Strength!” PRAISE GOD! He has shown me that the Power that I operate in; is activated, at its greatest effectiveness, when I am constantly in prayer! The more that I pray, the stronger I become!! The stronger that I become, the more I need to Pray! How about you? Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE! (Re-posting)

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… ““And let us consider how we may spur one another on towards love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)
I have been blessed, my entire life, with a host of “Encouragers,” in my life. The Chief Encourager, regardless of my shortcomings and challenges, is my “Bride,” my “Best Friend” and my “Wife!!” Regardless of her own personal challenges, she is always ready to share an encouraging word and a positive push towards the blessings that are just around the corner. It is exciting to find a note, pinned to your pillow, that says, “Thinking of you and I love you!” The craziness, and hysteria of the day, is no match for the “Encouragement” that is provided by someone who loves you and believes in you! Folks, we are called, through the Blood of Jesus, to love, and “Encourage each other, and to help each other along life’s pathway. Listen, Encouragement has never put air in a flat tire, nor made a car payment, nor has Encouragement ever reversed a burned biscuit, however, Encouragement has made us hold on when we think that we can’t go another step, and it has lightened our load as we pull through rough places. ENCOURAGEMENT!! It really doesn’t sound like much, however; it is EVERYTHING!! Dear Friends, Thank you for the Encouragement that you provide for me and my family and we are forever grateful for your friendship and “Kinship!” May you be Encouraged and may you be an Encourager to others! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
ANCHOR DEEP
April 20 “Anchor Deep” Hebrews 6:19
ANNOUNCEMENT: Baptist Tabernacle Church will be 100 years old, in 2022. A grand celebration is planned for May 22, 2022, to commemorate the first service as an organized church body! Special information, recognitions, God’s Word, and a catered meal (Parker’s BBQ) will be a part of the celebration. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the festivities. Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain…” (Hebrews 6:19)
Life in 21st century America is interesting. The population is demonstrating a lack of moral standards and those things that have been “wrong” for centuries, are now being deemed appropriate! Just yesterday, in a conversation with a young couple, they were professing their disdain for individuals that would share their beliefs with others. I pointed out that that was the standard for sharing information, whether we agree with it or not! Amazingly, the conversation turned to me, and my profession (calling). The young lady boldly stated that I was a part of the problem in our land! She continued to let me know that I needed to be more tolerate of others and their views, even though I might disagree! Wow! Really? My response was direct yet attempting to be “loving!” I said, “Why is it that the opinions that you declare are to be accepted, with out question, yet the good news that I share is viewed as “hate speech” and is in direct conflict with the idea of being able to share your thoughts without question or criticism?” She was unable to articulate a response and she immediately instructed her partner to leave this man alone! Again, Wow! Folks, as believers, we are going to encounter those that believe that their “unholy” and “sinful” ways are the standard and that, if you question their ways and words, you are, either intolerant or discriminatory! Praise God! He told us in His word that the world would hate us and would resist us and that we are to continue to boldly proclaim the Good News, regardless of the situations or conditions that exists! It reminds me of the words of my daddy, when I would face challenges, as a young man. Daddy would remind me that my Hope comes form God and that I was to “Anchor Deep” in His Promises and His Love and His Provisions! Fellow Believer, we are in for a challenge as we live and share Jesus! We must recognize that our HOPE is in Him and that we Must Anchor Deep, in order to survive and to thrive! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
NO EXCUSES
April 19 NO EXCUSES Galatians 6:7
ANNOUNCEMENT: Baptist Tabernacle Church will be 100 years old, in 2022. A grand celebration is planned for May 22, 2022, to commemorate the first service as an organized church body! Special information, recognitions, God’s Word, and a catered meal (Parker’s BBQ) will be a part of the celebration. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend the festivities. Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7)
Over the past several months, I have been attempting to assist a young man in his struggles with living. The talks that we have had, and the continual phone conversations, and the follow-ups are not producing results! The reason that there is a lack of change is simple! This amazing young man does not fully believe that he has a problem! The fact of the matter is that, if you don’t recognize and acknowledge the problem, then you don’t have a problem! This is true of individuals that I have shared Jesus with! If one is not lost (or does not recognize their lostness), then they cannot be “found!” I am observing this fact, being played out before our eyes, in our society! Just yesterday, there were 3 separate shooting, where people were hurt or killed, and the media, the leaders, the decision makers, are not acknowledging the problem or the communities where the majority of the issues are occurring! Sadly, young men and women are dying, yet we as a society, are turning a blind eye to the violence, and not addressing the “real” and “factual” problem! (Side Note: If every gun, both handgun and long gun, were suddenly and immediately destroyed, violence would continue to occur! It is a “Sin” problem!) We can make excuses for the violence and the destruction of an entire generation of young people, but excuses do not solve the problem! Dear Friends, the problem is SIN! I fully understand that some will be offended by these words, and some will continue to deflect from the problem by declaring that this solution is discriminatory! Please understand, I am ready for humanity to recognize our sinfulness and I am ready to share the life-changing power of the shed blood of Jesus Christ, as the solution to our SIN problem! Unfortunately, I am unable to reach every living soul on this planet, however, I am committed to reaching all that is possible! The scriptures are clear! Every one of us are sinners! Romans 3:23 tells us the truth… “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God!” The solution is simple, yet so difficult for humanity to recognize! “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 tells the truth about God’s desire for humanity! Friends, we are not going to be the catalyst for change for everyone, however, we MUST be the catalyst for change for as many as we can, for as long as we can, until He calls us home to be with Him in Heaven! This requires a proper relationship with God, through Jesus Christ, and the exercise of His Grace in every area of our lives and to be ready to assist others along this pathway that we call Life! NO EXCUSES…WE MUST BE ABOUT THE FATHER’S BUSINESS! The world will not recognize the sinfulness of humanity, but we can help, one soul at a time! LET’S GET BUSY MAKING A DIFFERENCE!!! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
PERSONAL COMMITMENT
April 18 Personal Commitment James 4:7-8

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:7-8)
Who is in charge, of your life? Who has your loyalty and devotion? Who do you look to for authority and guidance for your living? James is pointing out that we, want to serve God, yet, we allow the Devil to have authority over our lives. We have to choose who we will follow! Through the Blood of Jesus, our God has provided the ability to stand up against the wiles of the Devil, as he creates temptations, within our lives. Under the Redeeming Blood of Jesus, we are no longer controlled by the power of sin, nor are we helpless against Satan and his minions. Praise God! We have the power and the authority to stand up and speak with Holy Power, to Satan and his henchmen, to get away and to “Flee” from us! When we choose to draw near to God and resist the wiles of Satan, the scriptures tell us that He (God) will move closer to us! Remember, we have the Victory! We just, have, to claim it! Live it! Share it! I choose to resist Satan, Claim God’s Promises of Victory and be confident in my personal devotion and commitment, each day of my life! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
EASTER 2022
April 17 Easter 2022 John 3:16
ANNOUNCEMENT: Baptist Tabernacle Church will be 100 years old, in 2022. A grand celebration is planned for May 22, 2022, to commemorate the first service as an organized church body! Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
Today, we celebrate, and we recognize the greatest gift that has ever been given! From the beginning of creation, God desired a relationship with His creation (Man), and He gave us a “Free Will” to live and to enjoy His beautiful creation! The forces of evil (Satan) have challenged mankind at every juncture along the path of living! God’s ultimate purpose was for man to be in harmony and fellowship with Him, so, recognizing our inability to restore ourselves and to enjoy a relationship with Him, because of our sin, He loved us enough, and desired a relationship with us enough, to send Jesus Christ, to suffer, to take our sins upon himself, and to die on an old rugged cross, to pay the price of sin, with His own shed blood, as the one, true and ultimate blood sacrifice for the remission of the sins of mankind, past, present and future! That is the story of Easter! That is the reason for celebration! That is the blessing of His Love for Us! In and of ourselves, we can do nothing to re-establish a “Right” relationship with the Father! PRAISE GOD! He loved us enough that He did send Jesus and Jesus did pay the price, and Jesus did die, and Jesus did rise from the grave and Jesus did exactly what the Father had intended! Today is Easter Sunday 2022! Please, please, please recognize the priceless gift that has been given to mankind! It is my hope and desire that I should celebrate the reason for the Easter celebration, every single day of every year that God allows me to remain on this planet! The message of Easter is simple: God Loves us! He sent Jesus to reestablish our relationship, by paying the price for our sins! HE IS RISEN! I repeat, HE IS RISEN! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
From the time that I was able to read, my parents insisted and encouraged me to read my Bible. There were times, I would read the scriptures and thought that it was worthless for me to habitually read these same words, over and over. Amazingly, there was a situation that presented, and I immediately thought of a scripture that was appropriate for the issue. Wow! How did that happen? Mama used to tell me that, “the more that you learn, the more you will want to learn!” Why? She would follow up with some abstract answer like, “it will light your path!” She would say, “Read Psalm 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” How did she know that? I began to reflect on my early life, and I remember both of my parents, spending time in God’s Word and always encouraging me to do the same. Now, at 65 years old, I may not be able to recall the amount that Mama could, however, I continue to store up His Word, in my heart, and continue to strengthen my knowledge of Him. (Psalm 119:11: Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.) Just recently, a dear friend and Prayer Partner, were discussing the necessity of memorizing the scriptures, and doing it as much as possible, with the purpose of being ready to take on the wiles and ways of Satan. When we hung up the phone, I thought of another reason to “Hide His Word in Our Hearts!” Sadly, I thought, of all, of those amazing saints of God, that I have ministered to, over the years, and the sad reality of their situations. Many could not remember who they were, and did not recognize their own children, yet; they could quote scripture; chapter and verse, as if they had just read it! That conversation with my wise prayer partner, and her words of wisdom, inspired by the Holy Spirit, ministered to my Spirit, and has caused me to desire, even greater, the hiding of His Word, in my heart and mind! 2 Timothy 2:15 provides a great reason for doing just that, every day and in everything: Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Read God’s Word, Study God’s Word, Memorize God’s Word, Live God’s Word, BE God’s Word, Share God’s Word!!! My words are limited and time sensitive, but His Word is limitless and eternal and will last forever!! I get so excited about what is to come when I am, deeply, into His Word and the Holy Spirit reveals the intent and the power for living, that is mine, when I am “IN HIS WORD AND LIVING IN HIS WILL!” If you end your earthly days with the inability to recognize your family or to remember who you are or remember what you did 5 minutes ago, what do you want to remember? I choose to remember MY GOD’S HOLY SCRIPTURES. So, while you can, store up that precious word! DO IT NOW!!!! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.” (Romans 3:28)
Let us go back to days of Job, and as we observe the situation unfolding, we hear this man, Job, ask a question. He asked, “How then can man be righteous before God?” Fast forward to the time of Paul. The Apostle Paul makes very clear, the answer to this question. The answer is FAITH!! Folks, without FAITH, Salvation is IMPOSSIBLE! You can be the best person alive and can-do amazing acts of kindness and you can bless others, yet without FAITH and a Redeeming Relationship with Jesus Christ, it will profit nothing, eternally! Paul makes it crystal clear that “good works, good intentions, religious rituals, religious processes, or anything else that we can think up, will not and cannot, provide the cleansing needed for Salvation! IT IS THROUGH THE ATONING BLOOD OF JESUS, AND THE LOVING ACT AT CALVARY THAT PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE SAVED! WHEN WE BELIEVE IN JESUS, AND, BY FAITH, ASK HIM TO CLEANSE US, FORGIVE US, AND TO SAVE OUR IMPORTAL SOULS, THEN WE COME INTO A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE FATHER, THROUGH THE SON! HE LOVED US ENOUGH TO SEND JESUS TO BE THE ONE, TRUE, AND FINAL BLOOD SACRIFICE FOR THE REMISSION OF OUR SINS! Praise God! SALVATION IS NOT BY ANYTHING THAT I DO, IT IS BY GOD’S MERCY! IT IS NOT BECAUSE OF MY GOODNESS; IT IS THE GRACE OF GOD. BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE, AND BECAUSE OF HIS SELFLESS ACT AT CALVARY, AND WHEN I BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH IN THIS MAN CALLED JESUS, I AM JUSTIFIED BEFORE GOD, THE FATHER! THAT IS JUSTIFICATION, AND THIS EASTER SEASON (AND EVERYDAY) I AM EXCITED TO BE A PART OF THE FAMILY OF GOD AND ENJOYING HIS GRACE AND MERCY AND HIS POWER TO LIVE THIS LIFE, ABUNDANTLY! IT IS BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE, AND IT IS BECAUSE OF FAITH, THAT I CAN BE ASSURED OF MY PLACE IN ETERNITY! (The words are in caps because I am preaching) TO GOD BE THE glory! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
"HIS RENEWAL, RESTORATION & CLEANSING"
April 14 “HIS RENEWAL, RESTORATION & CLEANSING” Psalm 51:10

Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10)
I came out of the house, to go to the hospital, and I really looked at my little car, and I was absolutely appalled. The rain and the pollen and the business of my schedule, all combined to make my little car muddy and dirty and unappealing. Determined to do something about it, I went to the local car wash, at Sheetz, and with great difficulty, paid the “high” price for the solution to my dilemma. I got a car wash! As I sat in the car, rivers of cascading soapy waters flowed over the dirty surface and then the blue bristled brushes began their unenviable task. The brushes removed the dirt and grime with each passing, and the dirty water covered the cement floor. As I drove out of this “tunnel” of Cleansing, into the bright light of a beautiful day, my little car was glistening in the bright morning sun! Wow! I thought about this beautiful verse, and I realized, that just like my little car that had gotten a bit too close to the mudholes and the muddy dirt roads, I, from time to time, also stray too close to the “Muddiness” of life and stray too far away from the “Cleansing” of the Father God! What a glorious moment when we realize that He does not discard us when we stray, He renews us and “washes” us, and restores us! Please, Please, Please ask God, Today, Right Now, for His Renewing and Restoration and His Total Cleansing for your life! He loved us enough to send Jesus, to die, suffer and to be buried, and to be raised up from the grave and to be our SAVIOR!! Let our daily prayer be just this: “Please Dear Lord, Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” Let this day be a Day of Renewal! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
