April 23 Being Child-Like! Matthew 18:3 (NIV)
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina…
“ … And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” Have you ever thought about seeing the world through the eyes of a child? Eyes, that are, not yet cynical or critical or skeptical. Eyes, that are, in awe and amazement, at everything around them. When I look at Ava’s excitement surrounding every new experience in life, it inspires me to understand the scripture from Matthew 18:3; if we are to be what God has called us to be, we must be like “little children,” in that we must be dependent on His Grace and excited about His provision and dedicated to His cause and simply “walking in FAITH!” We can learn so much from our children. May we see our lives, our situations, our opportunities, our mission through the excitement of the assurance of God’s Grace and Love for us! Stay Strong, Stay Focused…REMEMBER, THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
Dear Lord, help us to see our lives through the eyes of a child and help us to be excited about the wonder and the amazing experiences ahead…In Jesus’ Name…Amen
