February 17 What Choices Will You Make? Joshua 24:15
**Please pray for the Jimmy Phillips Family (Wayne Currie’s Cousin) and Justin Allison and Cub Barrow**
Good morning from Pastor Glen Brock, Baptist Tabernacle Church, Wendell, North Carolina… “But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
Every single day, without exception, you and I make tons of decisions, both good and bad! The idea of whether or not to make decisions is a moot point! The choices that we make will have a lasting effect on our way of life. As Followers of Christ, our decisions should be based on His Holy Word and the Leadership of the Holy Spirit! Henry Blackaby once said, “Your life is the sum of the responses you have made toward God. Once God makes Himself known to you, what you do next is your decision. Your reaction reflects what you believe about Him!” God loves us enough that He was willing to sacrifice His Son, Jesus, to pay the Price for our Sins, yet, we act as if there is an option to serve Him, or not! The CHOICE is clear; we have a responsibility to serve Him in Obedience and in Gratitude! Regardless of the “Craziness” and the “Chaos” of our present situation, we are to serve Him. That is a Conscious Decision that MUST BE MADE!! So, what choices will you make today? As Joshua 24:15 says, “…But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” My choice is to SERVE THE LORD!!! How about you? Stay Strong, Stay Focused…THE BEST IS YET TO BE!
